RiverStix Kennel
RiverStix Kennel is a small CKC Registered family run kennel. It is our true love of this breed that we decided to own them. Shane is an avid hunter, and has found no better dog to take on the Atlantic's often rough and icy waters better than the Chesapeake. Our dogs are strong, dedicated and loving animals, no matter what the task they come through every time. Whether its retrieving a duck in the icy waters in February or playing with the children, we know our Chessies can do anything we throw at them. We own 4 Chesapeake Bay Retrievers and consider them part of the family.
We breed our Chesapeake's on a limited basis and strive to produce an excellent working dog with good conformation, and an excellent disposition. All breeding stock have good conformation, excellent temperaments. The dogs have all hip, elbow and eye certifications. Puppies come with a guarantee. We also have stud service available.

RiverStix Kennels is located in Branch, on the Southern Avalon of Newfoundland just 1 hour and 45 minutes from St. John's.
